Trilogy Ladies Golf Association

The Trilogy Ladies Golf Association (TLGA) is getting into full “swing” for 2006-2007.

The TLGA will be hosting its annual Fall Fiesta “Kick-off” Luncheon on November 7, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. in the Trilogy Ballroom. This year we ask that each attendee bring a generous portion of your favorite salad to share with your fellow golfers, as well as $2 for a surprise. Breads, desert and beverage will be provided by the TLGA. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the Trilogy Grill.

The TLGA looks forward to welcoming back all the former members, as well as introducing new members to the group, so if you know someone who is new to the community, please invite them to join us.

We all know that the holidays are quickly approaching and here are some important dates that you will want to mark on your calendar. More details will be provided later.

November 10 (Friday) – TLGA Special Membership Meeting – 9:00 a.m. in the Trilogy Clubhouse Card Room

November 14 (Tuesday) – Season play will begin. Our first golf day game will be four (4) clubs only (you choose).

December 7 – Annual Christmas Party – This is a favorite event for everyone. It begins with a day of golf (spouses included), followed by a potluck dinner and gift exchange game. Last year we had over 120 golfers attend.

Participating in the TLGA is a great way to meet new people who share the same interests as you!

Welcome to the Trilogy at Power Ranch Blog!

Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch has become the “Must Play” golf club of the East Valley. These words were mentioned a few days ago on the local ESPN radio show. While sitting on the Lantana Grill patio, I was taking in the sights and sounds of a typical day here at the Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch, and it became apparent that this is, indeed, no ordinary golf experience. Listening to the group of players who had just concluded their round of golf, I couldn’t help but notice the level of excitement in their voices. I heard them raving about the condition and quality of the course, especially the greens. "Fast and true," was the first comment I heard, along with another comment about how "fair" the course is to the average golfer. One of the players was excited about the new putting grip he had tried that day and was feeling that he had finally gotten the idea of how to handle the Trilogy greens. He took a good natured ribbing from his playing partners, of course, because of a few duffed shots during the round. The banter continued until one of the restaurant staff came by to take their food order and refill the libations the group was enjoying.

Later, as the setting sun cast a multitude of colors on the San Tan Mountains off in the distance, the tee boxes and practice facility were teeming with players enjoying the day. I decided to ask the group sitting next to me what they felt was special about this place. All at once, several of them answered in excited tones. “It’s the lifestyle,” one stated; “It’s the great friends we have gotten to know,” another replied. The comment that stood out the most was, “It’s the combination of a great golf experience along with good friends to share the moment with.” It was then that I realized that whether you are the dedicated golf nut or the casual player, the Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch experience is a feeling that I'm proud to share with my own family and friends.
